Wrongful Termination

What can I do if I was fired without cause?

So in California, most employees are considered at-will employees, which means as long as you don't have a contract that states otherwise, you could be fired for no cause, with cause, without cause, or any reason that an employer wants to give. So if you were terminated without cause, it doesn't necessarily mean that you have a case against your employer. However, it does look suspicious.

If you were fired without cause, best thing to do is contact an attorney and give them the real reason you think you were fired. That'll help in them assessing whether or not you have a case against your employer.
