Our firm represents two former cast members of Tyler Perry's The Oval, Derek Dixon and Mario Rodriguez, in separate lawsuits alleging sexual harassment, assault, and retaliation. The Dixon matter, seeking $260 million in damages, and the related Rodriguez matter have drawn coverage from Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, the Los Angeles Times, People, and others.
Tanzanica King, a 22-year ICANN veteran, reached a settlement after alleging she was sexually harassed, paid less than male colleagues, and wrongfully terminated. The case, which ICANN unsuccessfully tried to force into arbitration, drew coverage from Domain Incite, MyNewsLA, and the Daily Journal.
Camille LeNoir, a former USC and WNBA player, sued New Mexico State after her offer for an assistant coaching job was rescinded days before she was set to start. She alleges the university withdrew the offer over her sexual orientation and religious beliefs, and a federal judge allowed the case to move forward. The case drew coverage from the Washington Post.
