Discrimination

What can I do if I am the victim of disability discrimination at work?

If you believe you've been treated unfairly because of your disability at work, you should first document everything. Disability discrimination means different things, and under California law and federal law, it's both illegal. And in order to make sure that you're protecting yourself, if you document what happens to you at work, an employment law attorney can look at that documentation and give you their assessment.

Under California law, you're entitled to a reasonable accommodation and an interactive process if you have a disability. Speak to a California disability discrimination attorney as soon as possible, and make sure that you show them your documentation so they could evaluate whether or not you have a case.
