Discrimination

What is gender discrimination?

Gender discrimination is when an employer discriminates against an employee based off of their sex or gender. For example, because they're a man or because they're a woman.

Gender discrimination is illegal in California and there's broad restrictions against gender discrimination in the workplace. Gender discrimination can happen in various places. It could happen either in the hiring, firing, promotion, unequal pay, and many other places.

If you feel like you've been a victim of gender discrimination, contact an attorney. Normally, you'll get a free consultation if you've been terminated because of gender discrimination.
